The company was formerly known as the Cement Products Department of the Building Materials Research Institute of the Building Materials Ministry in Beijing.
Incorporated into Zhongnan Industrial Architectural Design Institute.
In December 1965, the Institute was established separately, and its name was designated as the Cement Products Industrial Design Institute of the Building materials industry ministry.
In September 1970, the Institute was named as Zhongnan Cement Products Design Institute, which is subordinate to the infrastructure Bureau of Hubei Revolutionary Committee.
In August 1973, the name of the Institute was changed to Hubei Cement Products Industrial Design Institute.
The institute was merged with Huangshi Huaxin Cement Industrial design team, and the name of the Institute was changed to Hubei Cement Products Cement Industrial Design Institute.
The name of the institute was changed to Ministry of Building Material Wuhan Cement Product Industrial Design Institute
The name of the institute was changed to Wuhan Building Materials Industry Design and Research Institute of National Building Material.
In August 1988, the affiliation is China Nonmetallic Mining Group, and the name of the institute was changed to Wuhan Building Materials Industry Design and Research Institute.
After the enterprise restructuring, the name oft the institution was changed to Wuhan Building Materials Industrial Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd.
The institute affiliation was changed to Sinoma Energy Conservation Co., Ltd.
