Application of Aerated Concrete Block Production Line

Residential Construction

The excellent insulation properties of aerated concrete blocks help maintain a stable indoor temperature, reducing energy consumption and costs. Their lightweight nature eases handling and speeds up construction.

Commercial and Industrial Buildings

Aerated concrete blocks can expedite the construction of large buildings, saving time and money. Their eco-friendly composition aligns with the green building practices increasingly embraced in the commercial sector.

Partition Walls and Cladding

Lightweight aerated concrete blocks are easy to work with and are often used for interior divisions. Their thermal insulation properties make them an excellent choice for cladding, improving a building's energy efficiency.

Infrastructure Projects

Aerated concrete blocks are employed in sound barriers along highways and railways, reducing noise pollution. In infrastructure, speed is essential, and aerated concrete blocks help in faster construction, reducing project timelines.

Process Of Aerated Concrete Block Production Line

Preparation of Raw Materials

Cement, lime, sand, gypsum, water, and an expansion agent are the basic materials required to construct aerated concrete blocks.

Mixing

The basic components are combined in a slurry mixer to create a homogeneous mixture. The slurry is then poured into various-sized and shaped moulds.

Setting and Hardening

Depending on the temperature and humidity levels, the mixture can be set and hardened for many hours after the moulds have been filled with the slurry.

Auto Claving

After the blocks have hardened and set, they are placed in an autoclave, a high-pressure, steam-cured vessel, for many hours at a high temperature and pressure.

Cutting and Finishing

Following autoclaving, the blocks are removed from the moulds and cut with a wire saw into the required sizes.

Drying And Packaging

After the blocks have finished drying in a drying chamber, they are prepared for packaging and transportation.

FAQ

Q: What is the procedure in making fiber cement board production line?

A: Cement, cellulose, and reinforcing fibers combined with water form a raw mass. This is applied layer by layer to panels of the desired size. Following that, the panels are pressed, dried, and finally, dyed and cut to order. Constant quality controls assure a consistent material composition and homogeneous surfaces.

Q: What raw materials are used in the fiber cement board production line?

A: Common raw materials include cement, silica sand, cellulose fiber, fly ash, water, and sometimes additives like pigments or fireproofing agents.

Q: What is the production capacity of a fiber cement board production line?

A: Annual output is 3 million to 5 million square meters. Double width sheeting machine with an annual output of 8 to 10 million square meters. Note: Based on 6mm thickness.

Q: What is the difference between cement board and fibre cement board?

A: Cement boards are mainly cement bonded particle boards and Fibre cement. Cement bonded particle boards have treated wood flakes as reinforcement, whereas fibre cement boards have cellulose fibre, which is a plant extract as reinforcement. Cement acts as binder in both the cases.

Q: How long does fiber cement board last?

A: The lifespan of siding also varies by its material. Generally, quality vinyl siding can last 20-40 years, depending on its specific quality and the climate. Fiber cement board, on the other hand, offers high durability and can last as long as 50 years.

Q: What raw materials are used in aerated concrete block production line?

A: Aerated concrete block is a compound of cement, lime, fly ash, and gas former (aluminum powder). It is a high-efficient heat-insulating material made through the molding and steam curing processes.

Q: How is quality controlled in the aerated concrete block production line?

A: Quality control involves monitoring the proportions of raw materials, ensuring proper mixing, precise cutting, and optimal curing conditions. Advanced production lines may include automated systems and sensors to maintain consistent quality.

Q: What factors should be considered when selecting an aerated concrete block production line?

A: Consider factors such as production capacity, available raw materials, energy efficiency, automation level, initial investment, and after-sales support.

Q: What maintenance is required for the aerated concrete block production line?

A: Regular maintenance includes cleaning and lubricating machinery, inspecting molds and cutting tools, checking the autoclave system, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.

Q: What is the role of the autoclave in the aerated concrete block production line process?

A: The autoclave is used for curing the blocks under high-pressure steam. Inside the autoclaves, the aerated concrete cakes are hardened under steam pressure and to create its final strength.
